Riley finds a furever home!
Riley was found very scared in Poquoson, Va behind a Food Lion.  We tried and tried to find her owner but noone ever stepped forward.  We took her to our vet for a complete check-up and updated all of her shots.  Riley went home with a very nice lady and has settled in nicely!
Jax is HOME!
Jax was an owner surrender that was pretty sick.  He spent over a month in a 4 Paws foster home healing and getting ready for the next step in his journery.  His new family has experience with rescuing dogs (they have 2 rescued Schnoodles).  Jax has 2 fur brothers and 2 skin sisters.  When we left him he was well on his way to making himself right at home!
Dollar has been with us a long time...
Until today!!  He found a Navy family with as much love and energy as him!  We thought a foster to adopt was the best way to find out if he was a good fit for the family.  On the second day we received this picture...after that we were pretty sure he'd found his home.  Today they made it official.  Congratulations big guy!

We again thank you for giving a homeless animal a loving home. When an animal leaves 4 Paws Animal Rescue for his or her 'new beginning' we feel great joy for them and their new family.

But it doesn’t end there for us. It makes our day when we hear how cats and dogs we’ve cared for at 4 Paws are getting on in their new homes.
We’d LOVE to know how things are going, and hope you’ll keep in touch as you and your new companion settle into your forever life together.

There are many ways you can reach us with your updates:
  • Email us with photos, links to video and details of your adventures together
  • Post a message on our Facebook page, or send a private message
  • Tweet your story, pics and video—be sure to tag @PAWS_tweets in your posts so we can see and retweet them!
  • Post photos on Instagram and tag @paws_wa
  • We very much hope your adoption experience with 4 Paws has been a positive one, and we've made you feel like a member of the 4 Paws family.
  • If you’d like to continue supporting us, we’d encourage you to explore other ways to get involved such as volunteering, becoming a foster care provider, or participating in one of our events.
